Shoot Self with You (2024), also known as Human Surrender, is a 156-minute Chinese experimental documentary directed by He Fa and developed through P4 Theater. As rehearsal begins to blur fiction and reality, Zichou becomes entangled in the work he created. Performers, cameras, intimacy, memory and authorship start to mutate around him. With the final rehearsal approaching, he must face the unstable relation between love, performance and the self he has tried to direct.
